The Market Intelligence Co. first to gain AS4752 certification
In February, The Market Intelligence Co. became the first market research provider to be certified under the new Australian Standard 4752. Owner and managing director Angela Orsaris says that the certification is an important step for the company in differentiating itself from its competitors and providing peace of mind for its clients.

AS4752 is consistent with ISO requirements and will roll into the international market research standard, which is currently being developed. Like the UK standards, which are certified by the British Standards Institute (BSI) and the European Federation of Market Research Organisations (EFAMRO), the new Australian standard comprises four modules:
Systems structure and management (general quality assurance)
Project management and reporting (the researcher's module) - responding to a brief, quotes and proposals, subcontracting and reporting
Data collection - which is the existing Interviewer Quality Control Assurance (IQCA) scheme
Data processing and coding
Innovation Survey
